Dr. Darrell E. Genstler, M.D.
Dr. Genstler is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of cataracts. He also cares for patients with glaucoma, dry eyes and eye trauma.
After receiving his medical degree from Loma Linda University in southern California, Dr. Genstler completed his ophthalmology training at the University of Arizona and the University of Kansas followed by a fellowship at Ohio State University treating diseases of the cornea and anterior segment of the eye. During his fellowship he was involved in the testing of the American Medical Optics YAG laser, the first YAG laser developed and sold in the United States.
In his free time he spends time working on his filbert farm, kite boarding on the Columbia River and spending time with his wife, Geraldine.
